What is our Privacy Policy?

Chapli – Privacy Policy & Data Usage

Chapli is a business communication and social media management platform that allows authorized users to manage Facebook Pages, Messenger conversations, and advertising accounts using official Meta (Facebook) APIs.

1. Permissions Requested

Chapli requests the following permissions strictly to provide its core functionality:

  • email – To identify and authenticate the user.
  • pages_show_list – To display Facebook Pages managed by the user.
  • pages_read_engagement – To read Page engagement data such as comments and reactions.
  • pages_manage_metadata – To manage webhook subscriptions for messaging events.
  • pages_messaging – To send and receive Messenger messages on behalf of a Page.
  • pages_utility_messaging – To send permitted follow-up or support-related messages.
  • business_management – To access Business Manager assets such as Pages and ad accounts.
  • ads_read – To retrieve advertising insights and performance data.
  • ads_management – To create, manage, and optimize advertising campaigns.

2. How Data Is Used

All data accessed through Meta APIs is used solely for:

  • Displaying Pages and advertising accounts to authorized users
  • Sending and receiving Messenger communications
  • Providing customer communication tools
  • Viewing advertising performance metrics
  • Managing and optimizing advertising campaigns

Chapli does not use Facebook data for profiling, resale, marketing to third parties, or any unrelated purposes.

3. Data Storage Policy

Chapli does not permanently store, cache, or maintain databases of Facebook user data.

Data retrieved through Meta APIs is processed in real-time only to perform the requested user action and is not retained after processing.

We do not store:

  • User personal profile data
  • Messenger conversation history
  • Advertising datasets
  • Page engagement records

4. Data Sharing

Chapli does not sell, rent, transfer, or share Facebook user data with third parties.

All API interactions occur securely within Meta’s official platform infrastructure.

5. User Rights & Revocation

Users may revoke Chapli access at any time via their Facebook account settings.

Upon revocation, all access tokens immediately become invalid and Chapli no longer has access to any Facebook data.

6. Data Deletion Instructions

Since Chapli does not store Facebook user data, no persistent data remains on our systems after access is revoked.
